A certificate of insurance (COI) is a document that verifies the types of insurance coverage carried by the University or Health System and is issued by the University’s or Health System’s insurance broker. A COI’s is often requested by landlords or outside parties to satisfy contract requirements. If you need a certificate of insurance complete the Certificate of Insurance Request Form and email it to Risk Management at riskmgmt@jhu.edu. If the other party is requesting to be added as an additional insured, please email a copy of the contract to our office for review.
